Ink Drop // November 2015 Edition

Thank you to everyone for another stellar (and jam-packed) AAF Montgomery month. We had two great after-hours socials and another great Lunch & Learn. Print Matters, featuring Nick Sambrato and Brian French, shared some great insight into the art of printing. Bell Media shared the latest in digital technology and harnessing it for greater consumer engagement. (In case you missed it, be sure to check out the podcast of the event.) And Daniel Stewart and Alex Wier (with Wier/Stewart) offered some fun (and hilarious) anecdotes to starting and succeeding with your own company. If you attended any or all of these events, please be sure to fill out the survey to tell us what you thought!

Don’t forget that we are still collecting canned goods (or monetary donations) to give to the Montgomery Area Food Bank. You can drop off your cans at Bell Media (Hampstead), RSVP (Cloverdale), or Matrix (Downtown). You can also email Summer to arrange a drop-off. Thanks to everyone who has already given!

Next month’s Lunch & Learn is on Thursday, December 10 — a week earlier than normal. Carol Gunter will be talking to us about the marketing behind the Camellia Bowl and the impact the national game is having on Montgomery. In January, India Vincent will be talking about copyright law on January 21. And make sure to save the date for our workshop Creative Boot Camp on January 29 with Stefan Mumaw.
