Ink Drop // October 2015 Edition
Thank you everyone for another successful AAF Montgomery month! The Vixen Vodka Lunch & Learn was a hit — with a vodka tasting to sweeten the deal. We also want to welcome several new members!
We have several events coming up in the next month that I hope you all can make it to. First, next Tuesday night, French Paper and Mama’s Sauce will be in Montgomery. Seats are filling up fast so get your ticket today. In November, Bell Media is hosting an after hours event about digital advertising at their offices. Thanks to Bell Media for hosting and for being a club sponsor this year. Our November Lunch & Learn features the owners of Wier/Stewart, a small creative agency from Augusta, Georgia. We will be collecting cans for the Montgomery Area Food Bank at both of our November events so start stocking up today!
We have been working on getting the local college students involved in AAF, both on a national and a local level. This year, both AUM and Troy University have started student chapters. Along with this, our education chair, Kristina Turner, is working hard to start up an internship and mentorship program. If you are interested in helping out or are looking for an intern, please reach out to her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please be sure to check out the new website when you get a chance. All members have a personal profile page that can be updated as needed — just another benefit that we have in place this year. If you need help accessing your profile, contact email@example.com. Be sure to check out the full listing on the site, along with all of the events we have planned.
