It has been said of volunteer organizations, as well as life, that you only get back what you put into it. AAF Montgomery has been fortunate that so many of our members have taken this sentiment to heart.
Being a member is what you make of it. The more you want to be involved and take advantage of opportunities provided, the more payoff you’ll see–feeling connected, valued, and fulfilled. Our local club has many nationally recognized and award-winning initiatives. Make the most of it by digging a little deeper.
This committee recruits, retains, and engages members. Volunteer efforts include serving as a greeter or sign-in table assistant for events, helping to conduct member surveys, hosting the kick-off party, holding a membership drive, getting potential members to attend meetings and making sure that everything is in order to welcome them properly.
