AAF Montgomery Now Accepting Entries and Nominations for the 65th American Advertising Awards and Inaugural AdMIRE Awards
Montgomery, AL – For Immediate Release 12-9-23
AAF Montgomery, the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, is proud to announce the commencement of the 65th American Advertising Awards and the debut of the AdMIRE Awards. Celebrating excellence in creative advertising and recognizing outstanding individuals in the industry, these dual competitions mark a significant milestone in AAF Montgomery’s 65-year history. Entries and nominations are being accepted now through mid-January.
American Advertising Awards
The American Advertising Awards, the nation’s largest creative competition, attracts over 40,000 entries annually in local AAF Club competitions. AAF Montgomery’s local phase initiates a three-tier national competition. Local winners progress to district competitions, culminating in the national stage. Entering supports the industry, with proceeds enhancing advertising programs such as government relations, public service, internships, advocacy, education, and consumer awareness.“An ADDY Award is the statistically hardest advertising award to win. Our local American Advertising Awards honor the best advertising in Central Alabama, and those winners move up to the District competition. It’s always amazing to see the breadth of creative work in our region,” says President McKenzie Dailey, AAF Montgomery. The final entry deadline for entry is January 19th.
AdMIRE Awards
In addition to creative excellence recognized by the ADDY Awards, AAF Montgomery introduces the AdMIRE (Advertising & Marketing Industry Recognizing Excellence) Awards. These awards spotlight the sales and service side of the industry, honoring the best in the agency, media, and corporate marketing arena. “We have been looking at ways to honor more members at the local level, and celebrating our 65th anniversary seemed like the perfect time to launch our new AdMIRE Awards. We are so excited to celebrate our industry on March 1st,” says Leigh Farrior, National AAF Council of Governors Chair and AAF Montgomery Awards Chair. Nominations, accepted until January 5th, will be judged by a panel located outside of Alabama.
